Position: GeoModeller Client: Oil & Gas Industry Project: Malaysia Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Duration: 6 Commencement Date: 0000-00-00 Job Description/responsibilities: GeoModeller •To build 3D static model incorporating geological surfaces and faults. This Is done through fault modeling, ensure surface depth map consistent with fault model, zoning and layering, identify low, most likely and high volumetric case, calibrate surface depth map model to marker tops, and last but not least corrected the depth maps. •To incorporate reservoir properties such as porosity, permeability and water saturation via fades modeling, from wells into the layering for 3D static model. •Conduct variograms analysis based on geological depositional model for facies, porosity, background, etc. / •Generate 3D geocellular (stochastic) geological/geophysical model for all reservoirs (conditioned by seismic Interpretation). •Generate multiple-realization probability distribution function for STO and G for each reservoir.’ •To upscale static model with reasonable comparison between fine and upscaled STOIIP/GIIP, suitable for dynamic modeling. / •Provide Paining and coaching to junior staff in 3D static modeling and all related geological, geophysical, and petrophysical aspects of static 3D modeling. / Qualification/Trade: •Must possess a degree in geosciences (Geology / Geophysics/Physics from a recognized university) •Must have at least 10 years experience in Oil and gas industries (geosciences) •Must have at least 7 years experience. •Must have minimum of 3 FDP or FFR •Must possess working experience with e & p company ore & p Service Company •Must be a Malaysian citizen or citizen of Asian countries
