Position: Senior Geophysicist, Exploration and Development Client: Oil & Gas Industry Project: Thailand Location: Bangkok, Thailand Duration: 1 Commencement Date: 0000-00-00 Job Description/responsibilities: Senior Geophysicist, Exploration and Development •Define potential prospects for exploration campaign •Do seismic interpretation for any key seismic markers for both structural and stratigraphic •Carry out the prospect evaluation and ranking Plan and propose exploration wells •Prepare drilling proposal of the exploration wells •Conduct post-drill evaluation •Supervise, coach and mentor Geophysicist(s) •Support, recommend and participate in planning of work programs budget Qualification/Trade: •Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Geophysics or Geology •10-15 years experience in petroleum geophysics/geology of seismic data Interpretation for both structural and stratigraphic plays •Sound knowledge of geology & geophysics and field exploration •Able to handle seismic workstation interpretation (Landmark) efficiently •Good command of both written and spoken English
