| Job Description/responsibilities: |
Commissioning Manager
-Act as focal point for the Client for all pre-commissioning and commissioning work
-Review and Approve (Pre-) Commissioning Procedures
-Liaise with Client to ensure that all pre-commissioning planning is carried out to the satisfaction of Client and that Client will have sufficient confidence in the work to sign off and accept process and utility systems when presented with the documentation that the system is complete
-Liaise and assist with the creation of a Start-up and Commissioning procedure to be written by an interfacing contractor.
-Oversee the Implementation of the pre-commissioning procedures, by system and sub-system, which were created as part of the pre-com planning done during the
-Fabrication Phase of the project.
-Ensure that ITR documentation is completed properly to document the completion of systems and sub-systems.
-Ensure the proper sign-off of accepted ITR’s by Client.
-Provide Final Sign-off authority and representation (or oversight to discipline delegates) on behalf of the Project Team.
-Manger for the Offshore Pre-Com/Com activities
-Approve the prioritization of the Pre-Commissioning work
-Monitor the performance of the Pre-Commissioning Team.
-Represent the Pre-commissioning during planning/progress meetings.
-Monitor (pre-) commissioning performance against the Contract master Schedule.
-Review and approve the completion of Systems and Subsystems.
-Review and comment on any approved changes in the Pre-Com Work activities.
-Assist Client personnel during the commissioning phase.

| Qualification/Trade: |
-Degree/diploma in a recognized engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation)
Minimum of 10 years (pre-) commissioning experience in the Oil & Gas industry
-Proven experience in management of (pre-) commissioning onshore and offshore works from detailed design to final acceptance stage.
Conversant with international specifications, codes & standards relating to the Oil & Gas industry.
-Excellent communication skills, both written & oral English.
