| Job Description/responsibilities: |
DP / Sat / Air Diving Advisor for Vessel / Barge
• To monitor the contractors on site Marine, Diving & ROV activities, ensuring that they are safely and efficiently executed in accordance with the agreed procedures.
• To monitor contractors’ offshore underwater intervention operations to ensure positive HSE management and compliance to the relevant Diving, ROV and Marine legislative standards, as well as compliance to - Company’s HSE Management System (MS) objectives.
• Participate in safety inductions, toolbox meetings and weekly I monthly HSSE meetings.
• Be fully familiar with Company’s emergency and contingency plans for Vessel, Diving, ROV and General Of emergencies (Platform fire / Oil Spills I Rescue), requiring marine intervention medical treatment or evacuation.
• Monitoring emergency response activities arising from incidents associated with underwater operations and act as Client focal point during emergency response.
• Ensure any Incidents pertaining to the Vessel and underwater operations (including near misses) are reported in a timely manner.
• To ensure that contractors Hazards & Effects Management Planning (HEMP) is in place, and HSE risks associated with the work scope I practices are identified and managed by the contractors’ supervisors for diving activities.
• Participate in HA.ZID and Risk Analysis with regards to underwater activities.
• Ensure that contractors’ diving and ROV equipment, personnel and procedures comply with contractual requirements, that diving operations are well planned and documented, and are in line with Company’s current policies & procedures.
• The safeguarding and maintenance of all underwater equipment with regard conformance to industry standards (IMCA).
• Monitoring of contractor resources (manning and equipment) levels, reporting of daily progress and highlighting any anomalies.
• Monitoring of diving and ROV performance targets.
• Ensuring that all communication (both process and equipment) pertaining to underwater operations and safety is established and complied with.
• Shall be responsible to ensure that the site from where diving and ROV operations are carried out is operated in a manner commensurate with supporting the underwater services activities. Such as Platforms, Barges, Moored installations, DP and conventionally moored ships.

| Qualification/Trade: |
• Must be competent in underwater operations and possess the relevant underwater Bell diving supervisor certification (e.g. IMCA Bell Supervisor) commensurate with at least 3 years or have a minimum accumulated 10 years, working experience in role such as diving superintendent/diving operations superintendent/diving offshore construction manager on a diving Vessel/barge for Saturation, Air and ROV operations.
• Must have at least 2 years working experience as a diving Company Representative on a diving DP vessel barge. Or 1 years experience with an approved CSR training course.
• Preferably have attended DP Awareness Course.
• Must have at least 15 years working experience in underwater operations and engineering experience in the Subsea engineering (Saturation, Air & ROV) industry.
• Should hold at least an HND (Diploma) or Degree preferably in mechanical or structural engineering.
• Must be fully conversant with all IMCA requirements pertaining to the activities referred to in the roles & responsibilities as demonstrated in diving supervisory role or IMCA audits participation.
• Must be fully familiar with all underwater activities including construction, inspection and maintenance techniques and equipment.
• Must be aware of relevant legislation I guidance in Malaysia in relation to underwater operations and safety e.g. IMO regulations.
• Must be able to communicate (both written and spoken) in English fluently.
• Must be capable of producing reports, audit documents, charts, forms, presentations etc. using word processing software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
