Qualification/Trade:
Qualification and experienced
• Hold valid and recognized Class 3 (Deck/Marine) Certificate of Competency with tanker endorsement.
• Must have minimum of six (6) years maritime experience with at least two(2) years experience in the minimum capacity as Second Officer of FSO/ FPSO/ Petroleum Tanker.
• Must have GMDSS certification – GOC Certificate.
• Must have attended an Advanced Oil tanker Operational Safety Course.
• Must be in possession of an Authorized Gas Tester Certificate within 3 months employment.
• Must have attended Damage Control Team and Mercury Awareness Training within 3 months employment.
• Must posses good supervisory and interpersonal skills.
• Must be familiar with emergency response and a member of the emergency response/ damage control team.
• Must have good experience in managing and implementing marine ISM Code, Oil and Gas Industry HSE standards/ regulations and its implementation, especially the ‘Permit to Work System’, Safety Management System and Oil Spill Response.
• Must be able to take the responsibility of a ‘Helicopter Landing Officer’ and have been trained / certified for this task within 3 months employment.
• Must be qualified and competent in performing first aid and CPR and familiar with providing early medical assistance. Must also be familiar with the dispensation/ control of drugs and the running of a ship/ tanker clinic.
• Must have good experience in the management/ implementation of maintenance and inspection program for ships/ FSO such as Classification requirement.
• Must be well versed in the supervision/ implementation of all offloading activities. Must be familiar with overseeing export tanker crew duting berthing/unearthing. Also the handling of floating hose, hawser and other related equipments.
• Must be well versed in managing and developing the loading/ offloading, ballast, deballast and store/ materials distribution plans to ensure hull stresses and stability are within the approved limits.
• Must be familiar with all the administration and documentation needed for the export and sale of crude/ condensate. Also with the administration and preparation of mandatory reports.
• Must be well versed in managing the preparatory work for maintenance and inspections such as tank cleaning/ degassing for tank entry, executing the precautions indicated in work permit, etc.
• Good understanding of relevant legislatives/ statutory requirements with respect to overall operations of the FSO/ marine terminal.
• Familiar with the management of materials, spare parts, consumables, lubricants, chemicals, etc. Required by the marine section
• Must be familiar in generating the work program and budget for marine section and familiar with OPEX and cost control initiatives. louis vuitton sale louis vuitton handbags
