Lead Operations Geologist
- Shall have 7 – 10 years of working experience as Operations Geologist and/or Wellsite Geologist.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience as Operations Geologist supervising operations in offshore Malaysia (exploration / development) of which all must have occurred within the past 10 years.
- Experience as Operations / Wellsite Geologist in HPHT, deepwater drilling, depleted, clastic and carbonate setting.
- Experience in supervision and quality control (QC) of wireline: formation pressure testing/sampling operations, sidewall core, seismic etc.
- Have experience in supervising LWD, formation pressure testing while drilling (FPWD) program in high angle well and/or horizontal wells.
- Experienced working/involved with managing contracts (i.e. Mudlogging, Wireline etc.)
- University Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Geosciences or Earth Sciences equivalent.
- Registered with the Malaysian Board of Geologists.
- 7-10 years’ experience in Oil & Gas industry.
- 3-5 years as Wellsite Geologist experience of which all must have occurred within the past ten (10) years.
- Candidates must have experience in sitting offshore Malaysia (exploration/development).
- Experience as Wellsite/Operations Geologist in HPHT, deepwater drilling, depleted, clastic and carbonate setting.
- First-hand experience in all Wellsite Geologist role, including but not limited to drilling, coring, wireline logging for formation pressure testing/sampling operations, sidewall core, seismic etc., supervising LWD, formation pressure testing while drilling in reservoirs in high angle well / horizontal wells.
- Must be familiar and able to work with Geologic software.

- 10 years’ total experience as Petrophysicist in oil & gas industry which min. 3 years (out of the 10 years) must be within the past 10 years.
- Experience in clastic and carbonate reservoirs.
- Experience in petrophysical evaluation of thin-bedded reservoirs.
- Experience with various logging types (general logs and sophisticated logs such as NMR, dielectric, image log, RT scanner), and experience in providing expert recommendations on the suitable log to meet data acquisition objective.
- Experience on logging, pressure test and fluid sampling operation and experience in supervising/monitoring operation.
- Experience on petrophysical evaluation, support and guidance to the real time drilling campaign and post drilling campaign.
