Job Description

Must have minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, MIS/IT, Math/Statistics, Engineering or Science;

Minimum Four (4) years’ experience in software application development in upstream oil and gas industry. 3.Experience in developing cohesive overall design strategy & assess design solutions against user requirements; 4.Skilled in one or more object-oriented programming languages (e.g. Python, R, or others); Excel, Power BI and basic web programming (CSS & HTML); 5.Skilled in data manipulation / processing: clean, transform, manipulate, merge and engineer data from different sources; handle all types of data (e.g. streaming, structured, unstructured data); 6.Familiarity with database and application programming interface, including WITS/WITSML data structures & protocol; 7.Good understanding of software engineering best practices including technical design, version control (using Git), testing, and documentation; 8.Knowledge and understanding of modern development methodologies: Agile using Scrum and/or Kanban; and 9.Have excellent command of English language in both speaking and writing
