About the Job:- Main Functions:-
  • Lead Site Safety. Lead company site team (as assigned) for completion of construction activities in accordance with project objectives, priorities, and contract specifications.
  •  Serve as member of the Project Team (PT) when project assigned.
  •  Oversee the execution of fabrication, construction, and hookup.
  •  Coordinate activities of site safety, technical, and quality inspection personnel.
  •  Determine if corrective actions are needed in order to meet project objectives, and work to have these implemented.

MAIN FUNCTIONS

The Construction Coordinator responsible for construction planning, coordinates construction input and communicates with Construction management. Establishes the Construction Planning Program (CPP) & seek alignment of the planning scope with the Construction Advisor & subsequently with the Construction Support Manager. Manages assigned projects and the implementation contractors involved to ensure that the projects deliverables are completed for RFI, meet the quality requirements and schedule, and delivered to project requirements.       

 

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for direction of day-to-day field construction activities to ensure fabrication, installation, commissioning, or repair/revamp activities are carried out safely, planned efficiently, and executed per Company's safe work practices, applicable contract, project requirements and specifications.

• Interface, monitor and provide guidance to site Construction Supervisors.

• Collaborate and interface with PMT, construction contractor, Operations,3rd party contractors to ensure work progresses without interruption and completed in a safe, efficient and timely manner within budget and design requirements.

• Coordinate Construction input to the planning effort & act as the key interface point for coordinating the flow of Construction deliverables to the project.

• Organize & facilitate Construction Execution Team (CET) meetings for assigned projects.

  • Perform administrative support and clerical work for the platform.
  • Manage personnel on board (POB) register and keep correct count of personnel in the field at all time.

Requirements:- Qualification

The person shall possess the followings: a) Formal certification in 'Medical Assistance' (minimum certificate or diploma) or equivalent qualification and recognized by the  government of Malaysia. b) Valid Offshore Safety Passport and Medical approved by PETRONAS Approved Medical Examiner (AME). c) Cumulative of minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a medic at offshore platform. d) Have experience in handling injuries and emergency treatments at hospital prior to offshore work. e) Have an experience in: • operating the various radios, telex and fax machine at an offshore installation. For examples High Frequency (HF), Very High Frequency (VHF), Single Sideband (SSB) radios etc. Preference is for those a 'radio operation' related qualification or formal training. The candidate must possess formal qualification / training and certificate on radio communication and can operate/handle fax, telephone, HF, VHF and SSB radio to meet offshore communication requirements. • Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO) or helicopter landing team member.

Apply good knowledge in medical field. b) Must be well versed in the followings: • Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) preferably have been trained in 'Advanced Life Support". • Administrative support and clerical clinic. • Hygiene requirements of offshore installations and have been involved in regular hygiene audits / inspection. c) He or she must be familiar in the followings: • screening of drug addicts and containment if infections / contagious disease at offshore. • disease prevention programs and occupational health and hygiene. • dispensation/ control of drug and management/ up keeping of the platforms clinic. • offshore safety and environment management system and have been a member of offshore safety committee (preferably with NIOSH Safety Officer Certificate or equivalent). • Familiar with the screening and containment of infectious /contagious disease. d) Able to demonstrate personal drive, initiative and self-motivated combined with the right result for the team. e) Able to perform work with a high degree of initiative and perform work under pressure.

  • Perform the first line maintenance, daily inspections and general up keeping of the cranes. the cranes.
  • Supervise deck crew on slinging, rigging, lifting operations, scaffolding work, general/menial work and liaise with banksman in interpreting hand and verbal signal.
  • Maintain the crane logs and keeping track of critical component such as wire ropes limit switches, load indicator etc.

Qualification
